Rally France-Alsace: A popular celebration!

18/07/2012

Last week-end, we celebrated July 14th, popular celebration par excellence. Another popular celebration will take place in Alsace next October, from the 4th to the 7th. Discover all the novelties of an event that gathers every year hundreds of thousands of spectators and viewers!

You understand it well; Rally France-Alsace is a large event. In 2011, you may have been among the 250 000 spectators watching the cars alongside the hilly roads of this beautiful region. This year, to sublimate the event, many novelties are about to emerge.

First of all, a « Drivers’ Parade » will take place on Thursday, October 4th in the afternoon, on the very same spot than the first special stage, in order to introduce the drivers to the public, who will have the opportunity to see all the competitors before the start.

This parade will be followed by a starting podium where all the team will be presented alternately, before rushing onto the first special stage (Strasbourg SSS1).

You will have a free access, like last year and during the whole duration of the competition, to many animations, which will be even more numerous this year, planned at Strasbourg’s Zénith:
- an automobile village, where all the important brands will be represented,
- a responsible mobility village,
- 800m² of inflatable play structures for adults and kids,
- an immersive car simulator,
- a test circuit for E-tricks electrical mopeds,
- an Alsatian specialties’ center,
- quizzes, games, and many other animations…

Another novelty this year will the publicity caravan that will pass on the layout of each special stage – before the first one on Thursday afternoon in Strasbourg and between the two race’s loops during the three following days – in order to entertain you and offer you various prizes distributed by the Rally’s partners.

Last, but not least, the closing ceremony will be held on Sunday, October 7th in the Zénith itself and will offer not only the podium ceremony, but also a musical show!
